How to measure for chair leg caps. Always measure the outside of the tube/leg using a caliper, ruler or ruler. The outside measurement applies regardless of whether the chair leg caps go inside the tube or on the outside of a chair or table leg (like a sock)
When inserting end cap into the pipe, it is still the external dimension that you need to select. The pipe wall thickness will also be listed in the “Dimensions” box or under “Description” on the product page.
