When inserting end cap into the pipe, it is still the external dimension that you need to select. The pipe wall thickness will also be listed in the “Dimensions” box or under “Description” on the product page.

Silent Socks Original – Item no. 9782. On floors with noticeable joints, such as tile and stone floors, older lacquered parquet or certain laminate floors, we recommend Silent Socks HD – Item no. 9783. For oiled floors or floors with a “non-slip” surface, we do not recommend Silent Socks Original or Silent Socks HD because this type of surface treatment significantly shortens the life of the socks. On chairs with “spherical” leg ends, neither Silent Socks Original nor Silent Socks HD is recommended. The spherical surface minimizes the contact of the chair with the floor, which in turn creates a small tip that is subjected to a very high load. This leads to a significantly shortened lifespan of the product.
